Krill Oil v Fish Oil

Krill oil is rich in phospholipid Omega-3s EPA & DHA. Phospholipids are more easily absorbed by the body than triglyceride Omega-3s found in fish oil. This better absorption rate means less capsules need to be taken to achieve the desired health benefits.

Phospholipid-bound omega-3 fatty acids are water dispersible, making them gentler on the stomach, easy to digest, hence no more fishy burps!

Krill oil also has the added bonus of containing a naturally occurring antioxidant ?Astaxanthin? nature?s most potent antioxidant which provides protection against free radicals.

The Krill oil used in all ThinkKrill products is sourced from the pristine waters of the Southern Ocean in Antarctica. The clean waters of the Antarctic ensure the oil is virtually free from heavy metals and other contaminants.

Compared to other sources, krill is one of the most underexploited marine sources of omega-3s on Earth. Currently only 1/3rd of 1% of the total biomass of Krill is fished on an annual basis, with a set quota of 9% of the total biomass already put in place this ensures that we will not have a sustainability issue in the future.

The Krill oil used in Thinkkrill product is Eco-Harvested, this technology uses a specially designed trawl system and direct hose connection between the trawl and the vessel, which holds a special mechanism that singles out unwanted by-catch (non-krill species) and releases it unharmed.
